I have shadow res set to 2048, distance set to 4000(? was between 3k - 6k, can't remember exactly- not far though) and I noticed some interiors noticeably tanking. Stay away from ELFX it's well made but extremely hard on performance. I can't find it right now but there's a mod that makes the Ghouls sound a bit deeper and less "burp"-y, which helps make them creepier.ĭefinitely recommend an indoor lighting mod like this one. We'll need F4SE to get a proper sort of ringing sound rather than just glueing that sound on an explosion itself. The author also has a mod for realistic sounding explosions- just make sure you get the optional file to disable the ear ringing effect. Get this with other sound mods, huge difference indoors.
I'd also recommend pip pad with it but that's subjective.
